A brand new erotic romantic suspense series by New York Times, USA Today and Amazon Bestselling Author Becky McGraw.
Dave Logan, former recon marine and ex-cop is a man who lived inside the box of government restrictions and red tape for many years. When he had enough of seeing criminals and corruption continue despite his best efforts because of that red tape, he decided to do something about it. He assembled a group of likeminded men with unique skill sets, cowboys of a different sort, former military and government operators, who aren’t afraid to operate just outside of the box to see justice done.
We’re from Texas, so if the six pack doesn’t work, there’s always a shotgun and shovel…
Dave Logan, the owner of Deep Six Security, is stunned when Dallas FBI head, Susan Whitmore, darkens his doorstep accusing him of being the cause of her losing her job, and demanding he hire her. Even as his brain says no way, the Barracuda is a woman nobody can work with, his white-knight complex forces him to offer her a job as his very overqualified temporary secretary.
A wealthy couple who ordered a designer baby which wasn’t delivered contacts Dave for help. To get answers for them, Dave has to get inside an overly-fortified fertility clinic going undercover with Susan as his temporary wife. The situation inside is worse than they imagined, and soon their pretend ‘til death do us part’ could become very real unless the two alpha personalities learn to work together to stay alive.

Former Navy Seal Jaxson Thomas left the teams in disgrace to save his squad from being dragged through the mud with a JAG investigation. He never thought he’d have to leave the civilian job he got after the teams in the same way, but that’s exactly what happened. To keep his friends at Deep Six Security from losing their biggest contract, he takes the blame for an assignment gone bad. But with the SEAL mentality drilled into him for years, Jaxson can’t give up. He goes to work for Guardian Angel Protective Services and hopes his last bad day was yesterday.
His first GAPS assignment tells him that won’t be the case though when he is charged with protecting the woman who was directly responsible for his exit from the teams. Fallon Sharpe, a federal judge’s daughter, now a federal judge herself, has taken on an East Coast mafia family who wants her dead. Can Jax keep her safe until the FBI takes them down? Or will he kill her himself before the thugs have a chance like he’s dreamed of doing for five years?

Twisted Honor (#2, Deep Six Security)
The only woman Slade trusts is his dog Lola, and the only person he wants to be in charge of is himself. He figured out in the service, he just wasn’t cut out for being in command. That’s why he’s a little put out when his best friend and boss, Dave Logan, leaves on his honeymoon and drops the care of Deep Six Security in his lap, without warning. Slade wasn’t taking it lying down, he was going to teach Dave a lesson. His mission, while Dave was gone, was to hire the people he’d been telling his boss they needed for a long time.
That mission is quickly interrupted though, when their biggest security detail goes awry. One of the Saudi prince’s family has disappeared under their watch, and Slade has to head to Houston fast to help them find him or they could all be out of a job. When he gets to the hotel and meets Taylor Kincade, the entirely too female head of security for the hotel, he sees he’s going to have his work cut out for him. She’s not only afraid of losing her job, she feels usurped in her own domain. The prince hired Deep Six against her advice and snubbed her own security personnel because she was a woman and he didn’t trust her to protect him and his entourage.
As Slade slowly unravels the circumstances around the abduction, without Taylor’s help, he sees that something isn’t quite right, but can’t put his finger on it. His men are no help because they just did their jobs and didn’t stick their noses into the prince’s business. But Slade finds out that Taylor Kincade had. She had befriended one of the prince’s daughters and he figures she probably has inside information that could help them.
Gaining her trust and cooperation, though, meant whittling down the Texas-sized chip on her petite shoulder, and that job would take a big axe and time which Slade didn’t have.
The ransom note they received from the abductor only gave them a week to find the missing child, or he would be killed. If that happened, not only would they have an international political crisis on their hands, Deep Six would be deep-sixed before Dave got back. Money talked and bullshit walked, as his mother always said, so Slade threw an offer at Taylor she couldn’t refuse because he needed her help.
How was he to know she’d redefine that offer into something personal he was too weak to refuse? And how could he have known he might have saved his own life by hiring her?
