Former Delta Force Operator turned CIA Ghost Ops Operative Cade Winters has been dodging his dysfunctional family for years. He isn’t supposed to have a family, it’s too dangerous, but Cade can’t let go of the only person he gives a shit about, his sister Veronica. When he makes his yearly call to her and finds out she’s receiving death threats from a homegrown terrorist group, Cade knows he has no choice but to go back to Texas to make sure she’s safe.

Fresh out of a six-year hitch in the Army, Cee Cee Logan thinks she’s finally earned her brother David’s respect when he offers her a job with his security firm. She quickly sees that isn’t the case when the job she’s hired for turns out to be that of the team secretary, a nice safe, desk job like he told her to get when she graduated college. Cecelia is frustrated, but takes the position because she is determined to prove to her chauvinistic and overprotective sibling once and for all she’s capable of so much more.

By the end of the first week, Cee Cee wishes she’d have just re-enlisted. Her body is stiff from sitting, her fingers sore and her mind numb, but what really makes her want to run back to Afghanistan where she would at least be respected by her colleagues is the company’s other new hire. Cade Winters, her ex-lover, is back in town and the hard-hearted, hard-bodied operator is a man she definitely doesn’t know anymore.

When a trafficked woman’s repatriation clinic is bombed, and Cade’s sister Veronica, a judge, is in grave danger, Cecelia is presented with her opportunity to prove herself as an agent. But the question was, did she want it? Could she trust her partner to have her back when he seemed to be on a mission of his own to make her look bad every chance he got?

If you haven’t caught up on your Deep Six Security, you have a little time.  The series is available at all major ebook outlets now.

Exclusive UNEDITED excerpt from HELL BENT: Deep Six Security Book 3 (c) copyright 2015, Becky McGraw

A muscle worked in the side of her cheek and it looked like she might be biting the inside.  When she didn’t speak, he decided to dig in deeper—go for blood.

“Maybe Logan might let you be a baby agent if you learned to shoot better,” he goaded, and her long, thin neck turned bright red.  That red crept upward until it looked like even the ends of her spiky blond hair were pink.

“That’s what you’ve been hell bent on accomplishing for six years, right?  I can help you get there if you like.  If you want to get yourself killed, I’d be happy to help you arrange it.”

“What the hell happened to you, Cade?” she asked, her lips trembling.

Those soft lips, those big soulful blue eyes did nothing to him now.  Cade’s heart was as hard and tough as they came.  Especially where Cecelia Logan was concerned.

“I became a man not to be messed with, Brat.  You started that process, so thank you for that.”  Cade swallowed hard and turned toward the booth to gather his weapons.  “Now, do you want a ride?  Or do you want me to teach you to shoot like the man you’ve been trying to become for so many years?”

“I don’t want to be a man, especially considering the ones I know,” she said looking away, and he barely heard her over the ringing in his ears from the fifty cal reverb.

“Lessons or a ride?” he asked again gruffly, patching that crack he felt start in his chest.

Lessons,” she growled, surprising him.

Cade laid his weapons down to walk back into the aisle.  “Get your protection back on and load your pistol.  You did unload it before you put it in your case, correct?”  He sure as hell hoped so—that was range practice 101.

“I removed the magazine,” she replied with a huffed breath.

“Did you eject the round from the chamber?” he asked, with raised brows.

“Uh—“

Uh—ain’t going to cut it, Brat—you should know better!” Cade moved around her to step inside the booth and opened her case.  He lifted the pistol and quickly pulled back the slide to eject the round.  “This could get someone killed—namely you.”

“I’ve been stateside for a year, so I’m a little rusty.”

“No excuses,” Cade growled, turning to pin her with a glare.  “This shit should be rote to you since you were in the military for six years.  Or were you too busy sharpening your pencils to remember that?”

“I didn’t sharpen pencils in the service, asshole,” Cecelia grated, lifting her chin to glare up at him. “I was assigned to outfit spec ops guys with com equipment at Camp Salerno, and served two tours there.  I know how to shoot, and shoot well, but am not arrogant enough like some people to think I couldn’t stand to improve.”

Salerno?  Ice water replaced the blood in Cade’s veins and his stomach churned.  Rocket City wasn’t any place for a woman.  That base near the Pakistan border was under mortar and insurgent attack more than any other forward operating base in the sandbox.  He was surprised he hadn’t run into her there.  It was good damned thing he hadn’t, because he’d probably have fought to get her out of there fast and gotten himself in trouble.

Cecelia Logan was damned lucky she lived to come back home.  A lot who were assigned to that base weren’t so lucky.

“Why two tours?” he asked gruffly.

“Because despite what you and my brother think, I was damned good at what I did and was asked to go back.  I volunteered and didn’t leave until we pulled out and handed it over to the ANA in 2013,” she replied, her eyebrow lifting.

“Then you’re even more stupid than I thought when you left.”

Cade’s hand shook as he laid her pistol down on the carpeted shelf to reload the clip.  He shoved it into the butt of the gun forecefully and it was a good thing the barrel pointed into the range because the pistol fired scaring the hell out of him.

“What the fuck?!?” he shouted, laying the gun down on the shelf before he spun around to glare at her.

She shrugged. “I had the trigger pull lightened to lessen the recoil and improve my accuracy.”

“What you improved are your chances of accidentally killing someone, maybe even yourself!  I didn’t even have my finger near the trigger!” Cade felt the veins in his neck pulsing as he leaned down to put his nose nearer to hers.  “That damned thing is dangerous, and you are not to shoot it again!”

Her eyes narrowed and she tilted her head as she put her hands on her hips.  “You will find that shouting at me and telling me what I’m not going to do isn’t going to work any better now than it did six years ago, Cade Winters.”  She sucked in a deep breath then blew it out and her sweet breath brushed his mouth making his lips tingle as she held out her hand. “Forget the lesson—you’ve taught me enough of them to last a lifetime.  Give me my pistol, and I’ll just take the ride, thank you.”

No—if you’re going to insist on carrying that damned hair-trigger son-of-a-bitch, you’re going to learn how to use it!” Cade grabbed her shoulders and turned her in the booth to position her at the bar.  “Put on your protection.”

Cade slid his headphones on and set his glasses on his nose, and after a second, Cecelia did the same.  She reached for the pistol, but he put his hand over hers and electricity zipped up his arm to his neck.  One thing sure hadn’t changed, feeling her heat, being surrounded by her unique scent—fucking touching her soft skin—still had the same effect on his body.  And that pissed him off, he thought, as Cade pulled his hand away and took a step back.

“Let’s work on your stance first.  Pretend you’re holding your pistol and about to shoot.”

Weaver stance, he should’ve known.  That was standard boot camp fare and fine for stationary target practice, but not for engaging multiple targets.  Cade moved up behind, closed his hands over hers on the grip of her pistol and stretched her arms out in front of her.  He used his toe to nudge her heels apart so her feet were evenly spread shoulder width.  He leaned over her back and she naturally bent forward.

“Lean into your target, and keep your arms extended comfortably.  You’ll handle the recoil better, and won’t need that hair trigger to manage it.  Keep your toes parallel and even with your target.”  Cecelia bent more toward her hands as if sighting the target. “Raise your hands to your line of sight, don’t lower your head to it.”

Cade released her hand to slide his palm up the underside of her left arm to remove the bend in her elbow and watched gooseflesh raise on her skin all the way to her wrist.  It looked like he wasn’t the only one still affected, he thought, with a small measure of satisfaction as he draped his arm loosely around her waist.  Cecelia’s breath hitched as he leaned close to her ear.

“Keep your elbows straight, Brat,” he whispered, nuzzling his face against her hair drawing a small whimper from her.  She turned the tables on him though, when she shifted her weight to balance and her ass made scorching contact with his fly.  Cade bit back a pained groan as he quickly released her to step back.

“Is this right?” she asked, stiffening her elbows, her face flushed and the pulse in her throat beating hard as she glanced over her shoulder at him.

No, there wasn’t a damned thing right about this situation.  His sensual torture techniques had backfired and Cade was the one paying the price here.

Cade thought himself long past that point with this woman, but he obviously wasn’t immune.  And he wasn’t a masochist, so it had to stop.

“One second,” he growled, then blew out a breath as he left her to go into the next booth and retrieve his pistol.  When he walked back into her booth and found her still tensely gripping the pistol, her board-straight arms shaking, he couldn’t help but smile.  If there was one thing Cecelia had learned in the Army it was evidently following orders.

That thought led him to wonder if that willingness to please would extend to the order he really wanted to give her.  Drop to your knees, unzip my jeans and wrap your thick lips around my cock.  A long buried, but very vivid visual of her doing just that burst inside his brain.  Hot fire through his veins to converge at his cock.

Focus on what you’re doing here.

Closing his eyes, Cade forcefully shoved the image back into the closet in his mind from which it had escaped and hammered ten-penny nails into boards across the door.  When he opened his eyes she was staring at him over her shoulder.

“What do I do now?” she asked with agitation edging her voice.

COMING NOVEMBER 2015! (Cover reveal in October, featuring Matt Zummwalt as Cade Winters)

HELL BENT (#3, Deep Six Security)

Cade Winters has been running from his overbearing father for ten years. Even he admits his method of escape was extreme though. Joining the military, eventually being recruited into the elite Delta Force and then taking a job with a black ops firm that kept him busy at the far ends of the earth, put him almost far enough away from his old man and the woman he left who seemed hell bent on getting herself killed.

Suddenly, it seems like all the women in his life have a death wish though, when his sister Ronnie, a Texas judge, decides to support a non-profit group that promotes re-training trafficked women before they are deported. Taking on that hot button issue has gotten her into hot water with a homegrown terrorist group who is threatening her life. Ronnie calls Cade for help, but he knows going back home means dealing with his father. But he can’t say no, his sister is in serious trouble and he needs Deep Six Security’s help.

When he gets to Dallas and sees Cee Cee Logan sitting at the front desk at her brother’s company, Cade almost changes his mind. How in the hell would he be able to work with the woman he’d loved for four years and hated twice as many? But how could he leave his sister in danger?

Cade was too much of a control freak to let Logan and his men handle the situation without him though. He knew his former best friend had skills, but he didn’t know Deep Six Security. Like he had for the last ten years undercover, Cade knew there was only one person he could trust–himself.

twisted-honor-header-webNEW 18+ EXCERPT FROM TWISTED HONOR (#2, Deep Six Security)

“Do you like it when I kiss you, Taylor?”

Taylor remembered the delicious kiss Slade laid on her in the truck and a thrill raced through her.  That kiss is why she’d been waiting for him in bed, hoping he’d come to her to finish what he started.  That single touching of mouths had created a burning need in her body greater than any she’d ever experienced in her life.

There was no fear, no pain in that act—just tenderness and incredible need.

Neither Matt nor Mark thought kissing was a part of having sex, so Taylor had never experienced the intimacy of mouths touching, the silent communication that happened between  souls through an exchanging of breath.  Slade’s kiss had shown her why she’d never felt really connected with either man during sex, or any other time.

“Yes, I need you to kiss me,” she whispered against his thumb, and he smiled as his head drifted toward hers.

His mouth met hers with a moan, their breath mingled and sweet need sprouted in her chest.  Taylor’s mouth opened on a sigh and Slade kissed her deeper, held her closer and the delicious tension in her belly grew.  His hand skimmed over her waist, to her hip, leaving goosebumps behind on her skin, but when the warmth of his palm settled on her ass, Taylor clenched her cheeks and he jerked his hand back.

“Did I hurt you?” he asked, his eyes dark with concern.

“No, just habit,” she replied, sliding her hand down his arm to take his hand and put it back there.  No sex ever started with Mark unless he spanked her until her butt felt raw first.  Sometimes it was delivered with his hand, sometimes with a hard wooden paddle that she hid from him, which earned her more licks with it when he found it.

Taylor got very good at hiding it.

Slade’s eyes sparked with anger, but cleared as his head bent toward her again, his mouth covered hers and he moaned.  He kissed her deeply, feasted on her mouth as his left hand found her other cheek  She clenched again, but his fingers dug into her flesh and he lifted her up to her toes.  His groan mixed with her whimper as her sensitive, hardened nipples raked up his chest.

He shifted her weight and suddenly the tip of his rigid cock pressed against the swollen nub at the top of her thighs.  He held her there, gyrated his hips against her as he deepened the kiss until she felt like he was inside of her, lifting her spirit up like he had her body.  Her breath came in snatches, her head swam, and need clawed at her insides. Throwing her legs around him she pressed down on him, rotated her body with his and a violent tremor rocked through him.

“We need to get in the bed,” he groaned, sliding his mouth from hers.  “I need to be inside of you now.”  Breathing hard, he sat on the bed with her on his lap.

Wanting that badly herself, Taylor scrambled off of his lap and crawled toward the head of the bed.  Laying down in the middle of the bed she brought her knees under her to lift her ass high in the air and felt her insides open.  She lifted higher by arching her back as she stretched her hands toward the headboard.

Her inner muscles and anus pulsed in time with her out-of-control heart as she imagined the incredible friction and burning stretch when his huge cock drove into her.

The question was which would he choose.

EXCLUSIVE EXCERPT:

The door opened behind Taylor and she spun to find a man blocking the doorway, his broad shoulders nearly touching each side and his head not far from the top jamb.  It was obvious from the way his black t-shirt stretched over his chest displaying his beefy physique that this was one of the Deep Six guys.  Not one she’d ever met before, but he definitely fit the profile of the men they hired.  His green eyes met hers and held for a moment, before he looked at Mr. Baker, and Taylor walked to the doorway.

“Excuse me,” she growled, when he didn’t move.  “I was just leaving.”

“Are you Ms. Kincaid? Head of security for the hotel?” the man asked, and his rich whiskey-laced voice excited every auditory nerve inside her head.

“Not anymore, thanks to the incompetent men you assigned to the prince’s security detail.” Taylor pushed his arm again, but she may as well have pushed against a brick wall.

“That’s what I’m here to discuss, and since you are involved I need you here too,” he said calmly looking down at her.

Taylor tossed a thumb over her shoulder.  “Talk to the man behind the desk, because I’ve got to go clear out my office.”

He finally turned to the side so she could squeeze past him, but she stopped when she came face to face with a big, beautiful German Shepherd who looked up at her as if assessing her.  Reaching out her hand, she let the dog sniff it.

“What’s your name pretty boy?  You’re not supposed to be in here.”  Because she couldn’t help herself, Taylor knelt to caress the dog’s face and earned herself a lick on the chin.  She needed that lick, and the rub of the animal’s soft muzzle against her palm.

“Lola,” the big man supplied gruffly.  “And she’s a service dog, so she can be here.”

Taylor looked up and met his eyes.  “She’s a service dog?”  Her eyes soaked up every inch of  his very non-disabled-looking body to his toes then streaked back up to meet his green gaze.

His unshaven jaw tightened.  “Not all disabilities are apparent to the naked eye, if it’s any of your business, ma’am.”

“And if I’m not mistaken, all service dogs should be on a leash, sir.”  With a final pat to the dog’s head, she stood.

“So should some people, but that doesn’t mean they get one,” he growled.  “I really would like your input in this meeting so we can figure this situation out, Ms. Kincaid.”

“And I’d really love to be in that meeting too,” Taylor replied with a tight smile.  “But since I was just fired, I guess that’s not possible, Mr…?”

“Slade,” he replied without sticking his hand out to her.

At least that beat the cold-fish handshake she usually got from men.  “Well, Mr. Slade, I’ll—“

“Just Slade—no mister,” he corrected shortly.  “Don’t leave before I talk to you.  I won’t be long here, so I’ll find you in your office.”

Who in the hell did this guy think he was?

“I probably won’t be there when you finish, Mr. Slade.  I’m out of here as soon as I can throw my stuff in a box.”  Taylor turned to walk down the hallway.  “You have a nice day now,” she said with a finger wave over her shoulder.

EXCERPT:

Taylor’s angry gaze swung back to his and Slade could almost see the smoke collecting at the top of her shiny sable hair. She looked back at Cee Cee. “I wasn’t quite finished with him, so if you’ll give us a moment…”

“No problem,” Cee Cee replied hitching a thumb over her shoulder. “I’m hungry, so I’ll just run back out and grab a burger. Levi said there was food in the kitchen on his way out, but it’s all gone.”

Slade walked around Taylor to stand in front of her. “Let me grab my keys, and I’ll take you to dinner somewhere so we can talk.” Slade needed to get the hell away from this compound and Taylor Kincaid for a little while.

“I’m hungry too,” Taylor said sharply.

He looked at the ceiling, gathered his composure then turned around. She obviously didn’t get he didn’t want to be around her right now. Slade was about to make that perfectly clear whether it hurt her feelings or not.

“There’s peanut butter and jelly or tuna in the pantry. Make yourself a sandwich. You’re not invited to go out with us.”

Slade walked around Taylor, grabbed his keys from his desk and moved toward the door. Suddenly, his feet flew out from under him and Cee Cee came at him full speed. He grabbed her, tried to shove her aside, but they tumbled through the doorway and landed in a heap. With a growl, he rolled off of her and sat to face Taylor who stood in the doorway grinning.

“You’re pretty damned clumsy for a former Marine. You should take karate, I hear it helps with balance.”

Slade heard the rumble of laughter in her chest, but she pinched her lips to suppress it. Taylor turned away, and her parting shot had Slade grinding his teeth.

“I had plans anyway. Hawk mentioned something about strip poker on the Nintendo tonight, so don’t hurry back.” With a finger-wave over her shoulder, she walked down the hallway and disappeared.

SEALed FATE BLURB:

Former Navy SEAL Jaxson Thomas left the teams in disgrace to save his squad from being dragged through the mud with a JAG investigation. He never thought he’d have to leave the civilian job he got after the teams in the same way, but that’s exactly what happened. To keep his friends at Deep Six Security from losing their biggest contract, he takes the blame for an assignment gone bad. The SEAL mentality drilled into him for years won’t let Jaxson give up though, so he goes to work for Guardian Angel Protective Services, a new security firm started by his former SEAL teammates, hoping yesterday would be his last bad day.

His first GAPS assignment tells him more bad days are coming however, when he is charged with protecting the woman directly responsible for his exit from the teams. Frumpy Fallon Sharpe is now a federal judge, and the big-mouthed redhead has taken on an East Coast mafia family who wants her dead. She will only accept a SEAL to protect her and his new boss insists that he’s the man for the job, but Jaxson isn’t so sure since he’d been dreaming of killing her himself for five years.

He takes the job, because he has no choice, but the last thing Jax expects to feel for Fallon Sharpe when he sees her again is attraction. Even though her waspish mouth is the same, the thick glasses and frizzy red hair are gone and those damned spindly legs that reminded him of a flamingo before have toned up and end somewhere near her ears now.

Dealing with his old hatred and this new attraction while trying to protect her was going to make the assignment the perfect storm that could lead to a Charlie Tango Foxtrot of epic proportions if Jax wasn’t careful. Maybe the last one of his life.

EXCERPT from SEALed Fate (c) Becky McGraw August 2015:

The doorbell rang, and Fallon Sharpe almost jumped out of her skin. Her gaze flew to the door and her hand shook, her heart raced as she fumbled under the couch cushion for her gun. When she finally found it, her hands were shaking so badly she juggled the gun before getting a good hold on the grip. Lessons learned in her concealed carry class the week before ran through her mind like a movie on fast forward as she crept toward the door.

If I shoot him, I have to render aid. That could be as simple as dropping a Kleenex over the bullet wound, before calling 9-1-1. But that was putting the cart before the horse. Fallon had to shoot him first and not miss.

Oh, God—was it the center of the chest or the head she was supposed to aim at?

By the time she reached the long window beside the front door, Fallon’s heart was a mere quiver in her chest. She streaked by the window to press her back against the wall, and a bead of sweat streaked down between her breasts. Swallowing hard as the bell rang again, she reached across her body with her left hand to lift the sheers to see who was there. The man’s body froze, and Fallon whimpered as she dropped the curtain back in place.

He’d seen her—and this guy was definitely not a Navy SEAL. No camo or war paint, no big guns strapped across his chest. He wore pressed khaki pants, and a red polo shirt. His hair was too long, and the sunglasses too dark. And her protector from that security firm in Virginia wasn’t supposed to arrive in Washington until tomorrow. That’s what Senator Greenwood told her yesterday when she spoke to him.

It had to be one of East Coast Willie’s goombahs.

Fear sliced through her as Fallon ran like a bat out of hell for her bedroom. Her leg caught the sharp corner of the coffee table, but the pain didn’t register in her frozen brain and neither did the fact that her cell phone was on the tabletop.

Fallon didn’t stop until she was inside her bedroom and the door was locked. She leaned against the door for a second to gather herself, but when her brain finally kicked into gear, she realized she had no phone. Next, she realized that leaning on this door meant she was right in the line of fire if the thug shot through the thin wood door.

Running to the far side of the bed, Fallon crouched down, her body shaking like she was freezing to death, and she probably was, with fear. That assassin on her doorstep wore death like a dark cloud over his head. He might as well have been wearing a black cloak and have a sickle in his hand like in the movies. It was obvious to Fallon from the deep grooves in his unsmiling face, the tenseness in his hard body he was a trained killer. He’d been sent here by Willie to kill her for having the gall to bring him to justice and give him the jail time he deserved.

If she didn’t, who else would? Not her estranged father, who was only estranged because she refused to heed his cowardly advice to take a dive and let the bastard off.

Not without a fight, bucko.

Kneeling, Fallon balanced the shaking pistol on the bed to steady it so she could take better aim at the door. If that man walked through her bedroom door, she was going to shoot him. Even if he turned and ran when he saw her gun. Screw the instructor in that handgun class. This bastard was in her house and the instructor was not.

Fallon knew he was in the house too because she’d heard the front doorknob rattle, the scraping on the deadbolt and the squeaky tumble as it released as she ran for the bedroom. Further proof this man was a professional assassin.

Gripping the pistol tighter with every second she waited, Fallon’s finger got closer to the well of the trigger. She knew she was supposed to keep it flush with the body of the semi-automatic pistol, above the trigger well, but she wanted to be ready.

More than ready.

Shoving her finger into the circle, she rested it on the curve of the trigger and tensed. The doorknob barely turned before the bedroom door swung inward, and even though no one filled the doorway, Fallon closed her eyes and pulled the trigger. When it didn’t squeeze and no explosion came, her heart stopped.

The safety!

Fallon’s eyes flew open in time to see a blur as someone dove inside the bedroom door, as she fought frantically to release the safety latch. It finally clicked off, and Fallon tried to raise the pistol again, but a large hand snatched it from her before her back slammed hard into the carpet and a hard body covered her. Wide shoulders pinned her to the floor and hands like vises held her hands above her head.

“Who else is in this house?” her assassin growled, breathing hard near her ear.

Buddy, if you think I’m going to tell you that I’m alone you have another think coming.

“My Navy SEAL boyfriend is in the bathroom and is going to kick your ass in about thirty seconds,” Fallon forced past her fear-frozen vocal cords. She was pleased when his big body tensed, so she decided to press her point. “His whole damned platoon is coming over for a barbecue in ten minutes.” Three quick, hot breaths in her ear raised every hair on her body.

Platoon?” he replied with what sounded like a chuckle, as he released her wrists to push up to his feet. He reached a hand down to help her up. “Well, I guess I better be on my way then before the Army gets here.”

Was he leaving? Relief flowed through Fallon and her confidence built as she ignored his hand to get to her feet by herself. But she wasn’t out of the woods yet. She tried to squeeze past him to run for her cell phone, but he blocked her as he bent to pick up her pistol. When he stood with it in his hand, a whimper slipped past her lips, but he didn’t point it at her, he reached behind him to stuff it into the waistband of his slacks.

One corner of his firm lips kicked up. “I’ll just take this with me to make sure you don’t shoot yourself, or your boyfriend. If I were your Navy SEAL boyfriend, Judge Sharpe, I’d teach you how to handle a pistol before I put one in your hand. Do you know how many people get killed by criminals using their incompetent victim’s own gun against them?”

This man—this criminal—was giving her a lecture on gun safety? “East Coast Willie must be short on Goodfellas if you’re the best he had to send to kill me.”

“East Coast Willie?” the man asked with a laugh.

“The gangster who put a hit out on me. Your boss?”

The man’s clean-shaven jaw tightened, deepening the dimple in his cheek. “Zane Alexander is my boss, but I may just kill him.” He huffed a breath. “He didn’t tell you who was coming to protect you did he?”

EXCITING NEWS! I’m Helping Cat Johnson Launch Hot SEALs Kindle World! Surprise DEEP SIX SECURITY/Hot SEALs Release Coming 8/4

BREAKING NEWS!!  A SURPRISE NEW DEEP SIX SECURITY RELEASE IS COMING TO KINDLE WORLDS ON 8/4

If you’ve been wondering what I’ve been working on, here’s your answer!  Cat Johnson invited me to play in her soon to be launched Hot SEALs Kindle World, which is a fan-fic area on Amazon (Details below excerpt).  I’ve been writing SEALed Fate, a Deep Six Security/Hot SEALs Kindle Worlds Crossover Novella to help her launch her new Hot SEALs Kindle World on August 4th.  This was a covert project until just the other day, but we’ve been given clearance now to let the ‘Cat’ out of the bag. *Groan*  Anyway, this is a very special novella because it not only includes a new Deep Six Security character, former Navy SEAL Jaxson Thomas, who will be included in TWISTED HONOR, it also includes some of the characters from Cat’s Hot SEALs series too like serious and sexy Jon Rudnick , southern charmer Chris Cassidy, snarky and handsome Rick Mann, wealthy playboy Zane Alexander, and former CO, now SEAL instructor, Grant Milton.

Yes, this did delay my release of Slade’s book, TWISTED HONOR, a little, but I promise I’m working on that right now.  I hope to have a pre-order up for it on August 4th too, and have it released by the end of August.

MORE INFORMATION ON CAT JOHNSON’S NEW HOT SEALs KINDLE WORLD and KINDLE WORLDS on AMAZON:

Hot SEALs Kindle Worlds
Cat Johnson’s Hot SEALs
are coming to Amazon’s Kindle Worlds! What does that mean? Here’s a quick explanation…

CAT JOHNSON’S HOT SEALS ON KINDLE WORLDS

On August 4, 2015, Cat Johnson’s Hot SEALs Kindle World will officially launch. Now authors will be able to write, upload and sell their own stories written within the Hot SEALs Kindle Worlds guidelines and readers get to enjoy even more Hot SEALs stories contributed by some of their favorite authors or by writers who are new to them.

The all-star line-up of #HotSEALsKW launch authors includes: Delilah Devlin, Marissa Dobson, Geri Foster, Sharon Hamilton, Desiree Holt, Kennedy Layne, Elle James, Olivia Jaymes, J.M. Madden, Becky McGraw, Donna Michaels, Siobhan Muir, Susan Stoker, Paige Tyler and Sabrina York.

WHAT IS KINDLE WORLDS?

To answer that we first must discuss the concept of FAN FICTION, which is the tradition of fans (of television, comics, and literature) penning their own stories in their favorite fictional worlds. They write for their own satisfaction and to share their words with fellow fans of the worlds in which they are writing, on their blog or on dedicated fan fiction websites. The most famous fan fiction story is of course by E.L. James who originally wrote 50 Shades of Grey as fan fiction of Stephenie Meyer’s Twilight series. James’s fan fiction was posted as “Masters of the Universe” free online in installments as she wrote it. As the cycle continues, fans of James’s 50 Shades now write their own stories. The Big Bang Theory TV show might offer the most amusing example of fan fic in the episode “The Troll Manifestation” where Amy writes Little House on the Prairie fan fiction starring her as the 19th Century heroine “Amelia” and Sheldon as a time traveling physicist from the future.

KindleWorldsLogoAmazon’s innovation, KINDLE WORLDS, entered the fan fiction scene in 2013 as a way for both the creators of the worlds that inspire fan fiction as well as those writing that fan fiction to make their original stories widely available to the reading public easily, legally, and for profit. Kindle Worlds began by licensing popular worlds such as GI Joe, Pretty Little Liars, The Vampire Diaries, and Gossip Girl. In June of 2014, Kindle Worlds dove into the Romance Genre with the addition of worlds by Bella Andre, Barbara Freethy and H.M. Ward. Now one year later, Kindle Words is growing again, launching new worlds in many genres, including a Kindle World for Cat Johnson’s Hot SEALs Series.
